THE PROMISED LIE!

Experience a TOOL

“Forget these boys, focus and work smart In school, in the streets of university is where you’ll meet a better version of men” said madam Muhonja as she was  handing us English papers that we knew the results were as  bad as her fashion choice. But she was right with one thing we needed to change focus from who received a love note from our brother-school or who mets who at the ‘funkies’. She painted a big picture and I was excited to see it. That’s why the moment I received my results of our national examination alias K.C.S.E I rushed to apply at the university I qualified for. And that’s when I realized it was all a LIE.

Everything I thought was going to be was not, am not saying it was all bad, but I guess it was too much expectation, well I had to have them because I was prepared for it. So I had it all planned that it is going to be the best days and try it to hit whatever goals I set in life but life as always is like a day you never know how it goes and how it ends right?.

Well, yeah seems like campus was waiting for me like an angry lion waiting for it’s prey, boom one of my first experience  is having to go to class learning new things different from what I was used to I must say, something interesting is being in class for only 3 hours sounded really cool right?
Now where it all changed is where I heard ways of life in school from deaths to heartbreaks which became a day to day thing and it was the worst nightmare for me that I was even scared to get myself involved in a campus relationship because the toxic relationships story was now a theme song, weird deaths and the daily dramas.

Enough of this straight story lol the best of It all was my social life in campus. I enjoyed every bit of it from making friends to my activities in school the best team jezz!  was something else on top of all these I got to learn some skills from schoolwork to surviving in school like the most remarkable you have sacrifice one thing to get another!(if you want to eat a nice meal sacrifice transport money) crazy I know but that was it.

All in all at the end of this I will still say my campus life was full of experience
